I chose this book because many people have read it and said it was a very good book, so I decided to give it a try.

This six-hundred pages long book can be put into many categories, such as Fantasy, Contemporary, and Sci-Fi, but seeing as it takes place in the present, I decided to put it under Contemporary Ficiton. This book's title character is a very well described protagonist who has a singer for a father, a dreamy artist for a mother, a sister who wears black in mourning for the world, and some other siblings. After an accident, Alyzon starts to have enhanced senses, and she can smell people's personality. The rest of the plot involves a neo-nazi realist gang, a refugee incident, a bizarre entrepreneur, a Scottish boy who shares a name with a well-known actor, and other such unconnected things that simply makes you want to read more!

This book is the 1st book in "The Face on the Milk Carton" series. It talks about this girl called Janie Johnson, but Janie has another name called Jennie Spring. Is it Janie Johnson or Jennie Spring? Who is she? How could it possibly be true? But it is true. As Janie Johnson glanced at the face of the ordinary little girl on the milk carton, she was overcome with shock. She reconized that the little girl was herself.......
